When we purchase chicken, we buy the large family pack of chicken breasts.I bake it all at once to have on hand for salads and hot dishes.This is a quick and easy dish.
Ingredients:
1 bunch of fresh broccoli, steamed
3 cups diced cooked chicken
1 medium onion, chopped and sautéed
1 (8 oz) can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
1 can cream of celery soup
1 cup mayonnaise
1 box long-grain and wild rice, cooked according to package
1 cup grated sharp Cheddar
Pinch salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients together and pour into a greased 3-quart baking dish. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until bubbly.
